1password is better, but it is only for Mac and iPhone. Lastpass is great because it works on Mac, Linus and PC, syncs across most browsers and OS's and is free.

Roboform is reasonably good on PC too. Trying lastpass out now.

Yes. There you have it.
Lastpass in on the cloud. You can share it through Internet between your computers (the Firefox extension works with any Mozilla supported OS for example).
1Password if you like a shiny Mac OS X interface and you fear about giving your passwords to Lastpass.
Lastpass is free, 1Password is about 50$ or the half if you're student. Family version (5 macs) is about 120$ => Pay 3 get 5.

Yes, there you have it. Lastpass is on the cloud. Storing your passwords in an AES256 encrypted file. Have a fun few trillion years cracking it, watch me not care.
The only thing about 1Password I currently don't like is the pricing. I don't want to have to buy the same software 3 times to support my computers, phone and iPad. Even less I want to pay almost $150 for the software for 3 people so we can all use it on whatever we want to. That money gives us 4+ years of LastPass for 3, premium. Remains to be seen whether LastPass is still the one I'd go for.

Tried 1Password on my mac and it was causing all sorts of problems and difficulties and it took too long to understand properly and it just plain sucked. ex. it was useless filling in forms. I don't know how safe this idea is, but I just password protected an ink document and put my passwords there. Put an image on top so a preview won't be able to show them. Of course it doesn't have 1000th of the functionality but it's works for me better than 1Password was!

I had been using 1Password on the Mac for quite a while. It was never as good at form filling as Roboform was on PC, but it was pretty good. Lately, however, I've had lots of stability issues and they did a major overhaul with less functionality and lots of glitches. Tried out Lastpass and have been finding it great so far. Much easier and no glitches yet. Fills forms more accurately as well. I think 1Password is history for me.

I got 1password quite cheap, as it was offered by mupromo.com/?ref=8348 . every few months 1password seems to be discounted there. Regarding the difficulty: of course 1password needs to be learned, such as any other software. For me it was 1hour and I am comfortable using it ever since, without any issues. Lastpass is a no-go for me, since I don't trust nobody that offers cloud services (see the issues with dropbox).
