Yes there has been quite a few comments on the net against Accenture’s core values. I just quit yesterday. Its the most wise thing I have done in my life. Its disgusting to experience and observe the horror unfolding in the company. Its just a matter of time when ACN will become another Blue-chip company loosing its clothes in public because of bad corporate practises. To those who are researching the company before you join them : These days having Accenture experience goes against you in the industry as the entire Tech services sector considers Accenture work culture to be appalling. And hence anyone from Accenture is considered as ‘AIDS’. I’m not being vindictive, just plain frank. You can bid you skills goodbye by being with them as it is never encouraged. I was in the Manager level after having extensive IT experience in the industry and a degree from Stanford. The politics practised by everyone from team lead and up have made the environment toxic. Which any imbecile knows is a recipe for disaster. Now that I work for a fantastic financial institution, I really pity the ones still stuck there due to the recession.

Accenture is full of deceit. The company values beleives in playing dirty politics with clients and employees. These bastards are worse than the worst Indian politicians. And these bastards team leads and uppper management are Indians themselves who have no shame whatsoever. They need to rounded up and sent to Jail. Never believe an Indian....he will always try to screw his own people. I'm sick and tired of experiencing such events unfolding in a SCAM called Accenture. Please do no wreck your career by joining this MAFIA. Please inform all your contacts about this culture so that everyone knows about this valueless slave drivers. They cheat you in every way - money, morale, happiness etc.

Refusal to work on an assignment- Disciplinary Action
Team,
As discussed in today’s call, we will have a clear process for initiating Disciplinary action for any associate refusing to work on any assignment. As with all generic guidelines, there could be exceptions but these will be limited and we would like all our associates to follow the assignment allocation without exception.
The process will be as follows:
• the employee is given a formal email on his next assignment allocation (from RMG). RMG has finalized this format
• we have a written response of the decision of the employee to not take up the assignment
• we have reviewed the reasonability of the reason given (to not take up the assignment) before deciding on the disciplinary proceedings (i.e. Warning letter and termination)
The above is based on Capgemini ‘contract’ with each employee based on the following clauses in the offer letter:
you will be based out of bangalore office. the company may require you to work at other company locations and on customers sites both inside or outside india. the company will seeek to give you reasonable notice of extensive travel requirements, and to take into account your personal circumstances when appropriate
And
during your employment with the capgemini you will agree to work on any project that you are assigned to, irrespective of technical platforms/ skills and nature of the proejct. i necessary, you may also be required to work in shifts. failing to do so can lead to termination of employment without notice
The owners of managing this process will be Service Lines/ RMG led by Rajesh Dahale and Robin Scaria (BU HR).
The purpose of this email is to communicate to all of you as Leaders on the rationale and need for consistent guidelines for managing such cases which have been increasing over the last few months. We need your support and cooperation in implementing the same.
For any questions or clarifications, please reach out to me or Rajesh Dahale or Robin Scaria. Thanks,
