Kaspersky is much better. Try the trial version of Kaspersky before you vote for other AV. I use Kaspersky 6 and it still work effectively...

It's fake nProtect used BitDefender engine with their poor engine.

I always try to have the 'hippest' anti-virus on my systems.

I manage a network of 350 users and Bitdefenders SBS Suite protects them all. No problems, easy as pie in the sky...

I think that kaspersky is the best b'coz it can easily be activated and updated, and it even detects a software if it tries to process a system file. the internet security is to be given a crown. all hail to kaspersky.

Hey, why Confused I am an Engineer , BE . I Prefer Avast. I do RnD majorly on Anti-virus Programs . Avast is very light on system resources almost 98% detection rate for malware and trojans. With this AV ,Computer boots faster than any other AV. Very nice graphic Interface , to Increase detection rate change setting for the scan and the Shiels in Avast .Try it i am sure you will love it .

i think that avg is good but avast is excellent...it is easy to install it and it increase the speed of pc...wheares kasper is very poor antivirus..it slows the pc...avira is too good...thanx that's my point of view

For ur kind info, Eset has known to be the lightest antivirus on Pc. Avast is not bad but Eset is preferred for many computer. As for bitdefender and kaspersky, and even trend micro, they are very good in security but they use a lot of system usage and memory usage and might result in system slowdowns. I have used many antivirus and the list on the top shows very different results. Zonealarm is the worst antivirus on earth, even worse than avg (freeware). I prefer ESET because it uses threat sence technology which detects known antivirus and detects virus as quick as BD 2010/2011. Eset also uses less system resource and therefore, your system runs smoothly.
