Meh, I used the Windows command line for years and, aside from learning the fundamentals of using a Linux distro as a separate OS, it was just having to adjust to an equivalent CLI syntax. As for Slackware versus Debian...but "piccert" has a point - Debian can be worse than a constantly nagging girlfriend with alerts. Beyond that, it's a stupid argument. The real answer is Gentoo.
