I regret that Gmail didn't come sooner. I remember when I had to search manually for those old emails in Hotmail, or when I had to erase emails regularly because Hotmail wouldn't give more then 2MB of s**ce. Today, I don't use Hotmail anymore, Gmail is a lot better.

I've used both and prefer gmail over hotmail really just for it's much better spam filter. It's huge amount of s**ce (7.4GB ATM) and simpler interface (not to mention no Javascript!) makes it even better.
